I have experience teaching everything from "What is Shabbat" for little ones to "Making Shabbat Meaningful" for  adults. Together we can discover how our holidays came to look the way they do now, why we wear Jewish ritual items, and even how do we decide if these traditions are right for us in our time and place.

I like to joke that the only year I did not teach or work in a Hebrew school was the year I spent in Israel teaching middle schoolers English! I love finding out how everyone's brain can learn Hebrew and help them achieve their goals: following along in the siddur, reading from the Torah, watching an Israeli movie, or reading and interpreting Tanach in its original language.

This multi-year course focused on how our tradition marks sacred times in its people's lives, from whence those traditions came, and how we can choose to incorporate them into our rituals today.

I am an avid student of Jewish history and love learning what people "were saying about the Jews." My research has led me to explore medieval England, early modern France, late 19th century America, and much more!

I am a Reform Jew at heart, and love sharing what makes Reform Judaism special. Throughout its development Reform Judaism has changed and evolved, and continues to respond to the world around us with Jewish tradition, compassion, and pursuit of social justice.

Turn it, turn it, and turn it again! Rabbi Ben Bag Bag taught us that every time we read Torah it speaks to us differently. Personally, reading our Genesis stories as a new(ish) parent has given me pause on many occasions!

Committing to a shared life is no easy task to undertake, and couples need to have important, and sometimes difficult, conversations along the way. I love working with couples to have these tough discussions and strategize as to how they will approach the world as a single unit.

I've often spoken with non-Jewish groups, faith groups, schools, and university students about the basics of Judaism and what it means to be Jewish.

I had the pleasure of working with faculty at Notre Dame de Sion Academy to prepare and present a mini-unit on the Holocaust for an upper-class ethics course.
